Come to the Greater West Point Family Y for an evening filled with fun and festivities. Children 12 and under can wear their non-scary costumes and enjoy trunk-or-treat. Our many games and activities include face painting, tattoos, a cake walk, carnival games and a bounce house!. It’s sure to be great fun for all.

Who makes the best chili? If you think you do, then enter our Chili Cook-Off and prove it to our panel of 4 local judges. This is part of our Fall Festival on October 21, 6-8pm, so be sure to bring the whole family.

You will need 1 pint to compete.

There is a limit of one entry per contestant.

This course teaches students to recognize and care for a variety of first aid emergencies such as burns, cuts, scrapes, sudden illnesses, head, neck and back injuries, heat and cold emergencies. You will also learn how to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies to help victims of any age. When successfully completed, you will receive a certificate for adult and pediatric 1st Aid/CPR/AED valid for 2 years.

Unite with us in sharing the light at our 19th annual Festival of the Trees, kicking off with the Lighting of the Trees cocktail party.  Join us for a night full of fun & good cheer that supports a great cause.  Experience the Tastes of the Northern Neck featuring delicacies from local chefs paired with a selection of fine wines. All proceeds benefit our Guardian scholarship fund, ensuring everyone may participate in all we have to offer at our Y.

A special offer for ticket-holders of the Lighting of the Trees Party – Kids Night Out! Children ages 6 months – 12 years old can have an exciting night at the Y too, for no additional cost. At Kids Night Out children participate in activities including games, crafts, a movie, and swimming. Dinner is included. Please RSVP by November 29.

Get ready for the holidays with the YMCA!  Help our community by attending the 8th Annual Festival of Trees Saturday, November 19 from 6:00-10:00 p.m. Our annual event benefits the Luter Family YMCA Annual Giving Scholarship Campaign.

Tickets are $50 each and are available for purchase online (see below), or at the YMCA Welcome Center. While helping your community you will enjoy music, dancing, food, beverages, live and silent auctions. Cocktail or dressy attire. Ticket holders must be 21 or older.

The event is at the Smithfield Center, 220 North Church Street in Smithfield.

Need child care?  Your children can enjoy Kids Night Out at the Y for FREE if you are attending the Festival of Trees (pre-registration is required). Call the Y at 365-4060 for more information.

AGE CATEGORIES:  Under 60, 60-69, and 70+

A player may only play in up to 2 categories per day.
Playing down in age is permitted.

COST:  $30 for one event and $10 for each additional category.

WARM-UP:  8am Friday and Saturday.  All players must present photo ID upon check-in.

ENTRY DEADLINE:  October 30, 2016.  No late registrations will be accepted.
