birthday parties Schedule your child's birthday party at the Y and leave the fuss to us. The party includes choice of an activity, run by Y staff for one hour, followed by one hour of party time. Activity choices include:

Price packages depend on the level of service you desire. Parties are scheduled on Saturday or Sunday afternoons on a first-come, first-served basis. There is a minimum of two weeks reservation time required. The total cost of the party package must be paid to reserve party. We are unable to process refunds for birthday parties. Birthday parties are available at the Hampton, Luter (Smithfield), Newport News, R.F. Wilkinson (Williamsburg) and Victory (Yorktown) branches.
Regular
This package includes use of the party room for one hour, a party host and use of either the pool, gymnasium or child watch room for one hour. You provide all paper products and party supplies.
Deluxe
This package includes the use of the party room for one hour, a party host, use of either the pool, gymnasium or child watch area, paper products, invitations, decorations, treat bags for each guest and a prize for the birthday child.
Super
This package includes the use of the party room for one hour, a party host, use of either the pool, gymnasium or child watch area, paper products, invitations, decorations, a prize for the birthday child, birthday cake, drinks and a treat bag for each guest.
Climbing Wall (Available at Victory Branch on Saturday only)
This package includes an hour on the climbing wall, use of the party room for one hour, a party host, paper products, invitations, decorations, cake, drinks, a prize for the birthday child and a gift for each guest. (Must confirm party 2 weeks in advance, release forms must be signed by parent of participants)

Our qualified staff and volunteers provide a safe and fun atmosphere for your child with age-appropriate toys, games and activities and even homework time for school-aged kids. With your family membership at the YMCA, you are entitled to Child Watch and Youth Watch services at no extra charge. Parents are required to sign the child in/out and to fill out an information form to be kept on file. Please pick up a schedule at each branch. Child Watch (Ages 6 weeks to 5 years) Youth Watch (Ages 6 to 12 years) Available at Hampton, Luter (Smithfield), Newport News, Northern Neck, Richmond County, R.F. Wilkinson (Williamsburg), Victory (Yorktown) family activities Spend quality time with your family at the YMCA. Wilkinson (Williamsburg), Victory (Yorktown) kid's night out plus Parents can enjoy an evening out while the kids enjoy an exciting night at the YMCA. Children ages 2-12 years can take part in activities including theme-oriented games & crafts, movies and swimming. Dinner is included. Held on the fourth Friday of each month from 6:30-11:00pm. Available at Luter (Smithfield) lock-ins Need a safe and fun site for your next overnight function? Look no further than the YMCA. Our lock-in package provides a fun environment at a reasonable rate for your church, teen or youth group that includes use of the game-filled multipurpose room, gym, lobby area and pool with a certified lifeguard on duty.
