Be a part of #GivingTuesday as we celebrate this global day of giving back, celebrating generosity and kindness.

What's Happening at the Y

Mark your calendars now!

On December 1, 2015 the fourth Annual Giving Tuesday online event will take place. This is a day of giving back that celebrates generosity and kindness.

You know the challenges that we face in our community.  People of all ages and backgrounds are struggling to reach their full potential.  More and more children face seemingly insurmountable learning gaps.  Families find it difficult to spend quality time together.  Playing outside has become a rarity.  Face time happens through a phone.  And instead of seeing the income gap shrink, it seems all we do is watch it grow.

But where society falls short, the Y-and individuals like YOU step in.

In the same way that Black Friday and Cyber Monday kick off the buying season, #GivingTuesday kicks off the GIVING season!  The most meaningful gift we can give our children, loved ones, friends and neighbors is the commitment to come together and build a better community.

Join us this Giving Tuesday, make a donation to the Y and take your first step in making a difference and building a better us.  Together, we make a difference in the lives of thousands of people and a huge impact on each individual we serve.

The YMCA School-Age program provides an environment where children can easily make friends, be part of a group, meet physical challenges, and know that they are liked, respected and appreciated. Our program offers youth the opportunity to have fun while learning healthy living through 5210 and science, technology, engineering and math through S.T.E.M. reading and arts activities.
