A Middlesex Family YMCA Capital Campaign

Our Y, Our Future Together

The Middlesex Family YMCA opened its doors on February 7, 2004, with a mission: to serve all members of the community with programs and services that would strengthen families, help with youth development and promote healthy living. Now, eleven years later, the Middlesex community has strongly endorsed these goals. The membership base has grown from 300 in that first year to over 1,300 members in 2015. The Annual Campaign, which provides every family regardless of income or circumstance the opportunity to experience the benefits of the Y, has grown from an annual total of $6,935 in 2004 to $60,297 in 2015.

Help us reach our goal!

As of July 1, 2016, our YMCA has raised over $1.2 million to complete Phase One: Multi-Purpose Facility and Gathering Area. We are over 80% there towards the Phase One goal of $1.4 million. Consider giving to the Building Brighter Future Capital Campaign, and your gift will leave a tremendous mark on Middlesex County for generations to come!

Here’s why your gift matters:

Additional space for program development will enable the Middlesex Family Y to:

  1. Develop programs that the Y is currently incapable of housing due to space, including: indoor soccer, stroller aerobics, large group exercise classes, and specialty camps.
  2. Offer additional space for collaborative community gatherings that include area non-profits, local organizations and regional training events.
  3. Create a multi-functional branch that is capable of operating simultaneous programs, serve as a host for community events, and physically be the true gathering place that is the Middlesex Family YMCA.
