Summer Camp

AGES: Kindergarten to rising 6th graders

A traditional camp experience that develops spirit, mind and body. A fun daily schedule provides excitement and new experiences throughout each session. Activities include swimming, arts and crafts, new games, nature exploration, sports, songs, field trips and much more. The program stresses socialization, self-confidence, self-awareness and teaches skills.

Session 1: June 16 – June 20
Session 2: June 23 – June 27
Session 3: June 30 – July 3 (closed July 4)
Session 4: July 7 – July 11
Session 5: July 14 – July 18
Session 6: July 21 – July 25
Session 7: July 28 – August 1
Session 8: August 4 – August 8
Session 9: August 11 – August 15
Session10: August 18 – August 22

COST: Members: $82 / week, Others: $97 / week
$40 non-refundable registration fee and payment for the first session is due upon registration.
$25 non-refundable, non-transferable deposit per child will guarantee a spot for future sessions.

Additional charge for field trips when applicable.

To ensure each camper receives the highest quality experience possible, we must limit enrollment for each session. Please bring copies of: school physical (must be within the past 24 months), shot record and original birth certificate to complete your registration.

Due to state licensing requirements, incomplete registrations cannot be processed.

Adventure Camp

This specialty camp will be the highlight of your summer! Whether it is swimming in the mighty Rappahannock River, climbing the ropes course or learning methods for wilderness survival, the Middlesex Family YMCA Adventure camp will leave you wanting more. Test your skills at the rifle range or relax by the pool during the end of the day swim time, your appetite for adventure will be filled!

Water Aerobics

Everyone from teens to seniors can benefit from this class. You will be energized and refreshed for the rest of your day after exercising in the pool. The water is supportive to your joints putting less impact on your body. You will receive a great workout and elevate your heart rate to achieve a great cardiovascular workout!

Bright Beginnings 2013 067

FOR SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

AGES: 6 – 12

Children learn the basic skills of their favorite sports while working with fun YMCA instructors. Sports include: Sailing, Soccer, Tennis, Gymnastics, and more!
