November 11 & 12

Double Elimination Men’s and Women’s
Doubles and Mixed Doubles

Winners 2 out of 3 to 11; Losers 1 game to 15.

AGE CATEGORIES:  Under 60, 60-69, and 70+

A player may only play in up to 2 categories per day.
Playing down in age is permitted.

COST:  $30 for one event and $10 for each additional category.

WARM-UP:  8am Friday and Saturday.  All players must present photo ID upon check-in.

ENTRY DEADLINE:  October 30, 2016.  No late registrations will be accepted.

Referees will score, call foot faults, and volley zone infractions. Lines will be called by players.  Tournament committee reserves the right to alter format based on the number of entries.  Tournament Questions? Contact the Tournament Director at or 804 436 8013.

USAPA RATING:  A ratings clinic will be held on Thursday, November 10, at 5:30pm at the YMCA. Three USAPA raters will be on site to rate players. *Note, you do not have to be a USAPA member to receive a rating. Go to to learn more about specific ratings. An additional $10 fee will be charged. Unite with us in sharing the light at our 19th annual Festival of the Trees, kicking off with the Lighting of the Trees cocktail party. All proceeds benefit our Guardian scholarship fund, ensuring everyone may participate in all we have to offer at our Y.

The YMCA School-Age program provides an environment where children can easily make friends, be part of a group, meet physical challenges, and know that they are liked, respected and appreciated. Our program offers youth the opportunity to have fun while learning healthy living through 5210 and science, technology, engineering and math through S.T.E.M. reading and arts activities.

Youth Super Sports – Soccer

AGES: 6-8, 9-11, and 12-15

Youth Super Sports trained coaches introduce the basic skills and rules of soccer. Dribbling, passing, marking, and shooting at the goal are explored. Good sportsmanship and character development are emphasized. Fitness concepts include fitness for the heart, lungs, and muscles, safe play, flexibility, and healthy eating.
