Threes

three year oldThree year olds

Three year olds are like little sponges, they have a huge capacity for learning. They use all their senses and learn through exploring and mimicking. Each day, in our three year old room at YMCA, child care is structured to allow our children to learn and play throughout the day. Literacy skills and phonemic awareness are developed through finger plays, songs, games and reading. Math is introduced and practiced through play.
