2-Hoover-CareyLucy Hoover is originally from Staunton, Virginia but has been a resident of the Northern Neck for 23 years. She lives in the Newland area with her husband, John and three sons, John Paul, Will and Jordan. Lucy graduated from Radford University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1988. She has been a registered nurse in the Intensive Care Unit at Riverside Tappahannock Hospital for 23 years. She currently serves as Interim Nurse Manager for the ICU. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family out on the river fishing, watching her sons in sporting events, and working in her gardens.

James “Jimmy” Carey is a resident of Richmond County, and 1997 graduate of Rappahannock High school. After graduation, Jimmy enlisted in the United States Army Reserve and served four years. He is currently positioned in an Army Civilian service position supporting Fort A. P. Hill. He is married to Kewanna Carey and together they have two handsome, intelligent boys, Elijah and Jeremiah. Jimmy enjoys and takes pride in volunteering his time in his community. His willingness to help is exemplified through his community involvements: RCVFD Co. 1 Volunteer Fire Fighter since 2008, RCYFL Commissioner from 2008 to 2016, Assistant High School Football coach since 2008 and coach for the RichMore AAU Basketball Club. Jimmy loves spending time with his family, working with kids, riding out with the Pony Riders Mustang Club, cracking jokes and having FUN!
