The Y offers swim lessons out of concern for the safety and protection of children. Learning to swim is a life-skill that everyone should master. Knowing how to swim can save your child’s life as well as build their self-confidence, increase their endurance for all physical activity, and build competency for advancing through the sport of swimming. Students are grouped by age and skill-level and then learns and progresses at his or her own rate. Swim students are advanced to the next level only when able to proficiently and safely perform the skills within the current level.
We offer sessions for 8 weeks (one day each week including Saturdays) and two-week sessions during the week.
