10K Run/Walk

Saturday, April 15 enjoy a historical and scenic race that begins on the waterfront of historic Yorktown. Proceed by Cornwallis Cave, the Yorktown Victory Monument, through Yorktown Battlefield, past Surrender Field, down Surrender Road and return to the waterfront.

  • Certified 10K course (VA-16011-RT)
  • A Hampton Roads Super Grand Prix Event
  • A Colonial Road Runners Grand Prix Event
  • Virginia State RRCA 10K Championship

Race held rain or shine, no refunds


  • 1st place female receives a bracelet donated by Viccellio Goldsmith Jeweler
  • 1st place male receives a Segway rental for two people by Patriots Tours
  • Top 3 overall male & female
  • Top 3 male & female in 5-year age groups from 14-&-under through 70-&-over
  • Top 5 male & female overall race walkers
  • Finisher medals to all 10K finishers
After-race events include fun, active play for the whole family, music, refreshments, adult beverages, and drawings for door prizes.

Registrations received by 9:00 pm March 28 are awarded the early-registration price and receive a commemorative T-shirt. All other registrants receive a T-shirt while supplies last.
Race-day registration is from 6:45 am – 8:15 am
