The Y is a leading voice on health and well-being. With a mission centered on balance, the Y brings families closer together, encourages good health and fosters connections through fitness, sports, fun and shared interests. As a result, millions of youth, adults and families are receiving the support, guidance and resources needed to achieve greater health and well-being for their spirit, mind and body. Because we know that healthy lifestyles are achieved through nurturing the whole person, the Y is so much more than just working out. We provide educational programs to promote healthier decisions, and offer a variety of programs that can help you grow stronger physically, mentally and spiritually. Select from the list below for a available classes at each YMCA location.
Available at all YMCA facility locations:
ActivTrax® – A technology-based personal fitness coach, available at all YMCA locations. It creates customized workouts that can be accessed from home, your smart phone, or at the Y. Strength training, cardio, and nutrition are all components of your personal fitness program. Wellness Center Orientations – A free Wellness Center Orientation is available to all members by appointment. Learn proper use, techniques, programming, and safety recommendations from our experienced instructors. An overall Wellness Center Orientation is recommended for all members and is required for youth under 18 years of age, before using the equipment in the Wellness Center. Personal Training – Let one of our certified personal trainers help you gain better results from your workout. An individualized exercise program is designed to meet your personal health and fitness goals. Ask a Wellness Associate to set up an appointment for your initial consultation.
Available at some YMCA facility locations:
Wellness Assessments – Let one of our fitness specialists assess your fitness level and receive a consultation to discuss your results and help plan/design an exercise program based on your personal results. A variety of packages are available. Nutrition Consultations – Consult with the Y’s registered dietician. Discover the basics of good nutrition and how to create delicious meals that help you accomplish your health and wellness goals. Consultations offer weight-loss and maintenance guidance, education for disease prevention and management, meal plan development, recipe modification, and nutrition for optimal athletic performance. Lose-to-Win Weight Loss Challenge – Our weight loss challenge offers a supportive environment in both individual and group settings. The program includes nutrition counseling, strength and cardiovascular training, group classes, exercise and nutrition tips, guidance, motivation and support meetings.

Youth ages 12 – 15 years old are welcome to use the Wellness Center under the following guidelines:
- Must complete a Wellness Center Orientation
- Must be accompanied by a supervising adult, 18 years or older, at all times
- May use cardio equipment and resistance machines
- Youth access may vary by location
- To use free weights: 13-15 year olds must attend a Free-Weight Orientation and receive an evaluation from the Wellness Director

- Zumba Kids, Zumba Teens, Zumba Family
