Combo Water Aerobics

Practical interval training utilizing shallow and deep water while using aquatic exercises to develop balance, flexibility, endurance, strength and body tone.

Intensity Level: Medium/High

Deep Water Aerobics

A moderate-to-high intensity class (with no impact) designed to increase cardiovascular performance, muscle strength, and stamina in deep water (buoyancy belts are worn).

Intensity Level: Medium/High

Pre-teen Water Aerobics

This class offers younger children aged 8-12 the opportunity to exercise in the water with other children. This class is held in the shallow end with kid-friendly activities and use of noodles.

Intensity Level: All

Shallow Water Aerobics

A moderate- to high-impact and intensity exercise class designed to increase cardiovascular, muscle strength and stamina in shallow water.

Intensity Level: All


Each YMCA location creates their own schedule of group exercise classes to offer and classes are rotated to keep workouts new and fresh so members stay engaged with their routines.

All classes are not offered at all locations.
