The YMCA/Huntington Ingalls Employees Membership Special
Who does this apply to?
This offer applies to all Huntington and Ingalls Industries employees and their families and QuadMed employees. The HII/QuadMed employee must join the family to receive the discounted rate as well.
What locations do I have access to?
You have access to over 2,300 in the United States and Puerto Rico through nationwide membership. You must join a location of one of the following YMCAs to receive the membership savings:
- Peninsula Metropolitan YMCA (Virginia)
- YMCA of South Hampton Roads (Virginia)
- YMCA of Greater Richmond (Virginia)
- YMCA of Mississippi’s Gulf Coast (Mississippi)
I am already a Y member; how do I get the special rates?
Show your employee badge to a Membership team member to receive your rate adjustment. It may take up to 30 days for price changes to take effect.
How do I get the 10% off discount?
Show up to a YMCA location in one of the three associations listed, with your ID Badge to receive your 10% discount.
Will I not get 10% off at the Greater Richmond YMCA?
The Greater Richmond YMCA will provide employees and their families at a special rate.
What is a nationwide membership?
Nationwide membership means that once you join the YMCA you will have access to over 2,300 Ys in the United States and Puerto Rico. 50% or more must be at your home/joined location.
When is this offer available?
This offer is available as of September 1, 2019.
What is the Employee Wellness Program?
It’s a program to help support the health and well-being needs of employees and their families.
What is a provider referral?
Provider referral means wellness coordinators, physicians, and therapists will be equipped to refer their patients and employees to the YMCA for continued care, exercise, and healthy lifestyle maintenance.
Why is this important?
This is important because of the enhancements the Y will offer to the already established wellness programming at the wellness center onsite
