The Fort Monroe YMCA is located in an historic antebellum building, built in 1903, and was once a home of the first Armed Services YMCA in the Country, established in 1889. The YMCA is proud to restore the YMCA in Fort Monroe as part of the revitalization of this community.

SUMMER CAMP
Imagine a summer full of creativity, and adventure! Picture all of the life-long memories that will be made from the exciting activities, like field trips and games! Enjoy your summer knowing that your camper is in a safe, enriching, and positive environment. Here at the Y, we believe that summer camp should be an experience for your child to grow in spirit, mind, and body!

Registration Information
Limited spaces available, to guarantee your campers spot all deposits are due at registration.
What to bring to registration:
Registration packets are now electronic forms! You will fill out the packet electronically in person or online when registering.
Please allow enough time to complete the application and questionnaire in one sitting. The system will time out automatically if left open without activity and will not save your answers.
- An original birth certificate, immunization record, and physical for each camper
- $40 non-refundable registration fee and first week fees are due at time of registration
- Non-refundable/transferable deposit of $25 per week per child to reserve a camp spot

Please note: If your child’s camp will be paid by a third-party (such as Social Services or FAPT), or you will be seeking YMCA financial assistance through the Guardian program, please fill out the Application for Financial Assistance for Camp Programs. Confirmation of financial assistance approval and registration will be made known to you by the child care director. Additional documents may be required to complete the registration.
Day Camp
A traditional camp experience that develops spirit, mind and body. A fun daily schedule provides excitement and new experiences throughout each session. Activities include swimming, arts and crafts, new games, nature exploration, sports, songs, field trips and much more. The program stresses socialization, self-confidence, self-awareness and teaches skills.
Ages: Rising 4th to rising 9th grade
Cost: $106/week for members and $136/week for program participants
