Lora Garner proudly serves along side her family at their VA century family farm, Garner’s Produce in Westmoreland County. While pursuing her 20 year degree, Lora has been accepted into the RN program at RCC. She enjoys spending time with her family and spoiling her animals.


Dr. Charles “Chuck” Gilchrist as born in Charleston, SC and moved to Tappahannock in 1950. He graduated from Tappahannock High School, The Citadel and received his doctorate degree from New England College of Optometry. He has been practicing at Gilchrist Eyecare since 1979. Chuck lives in Tappahannock with his wife, Linda. They have three children and  5 granddaughters. Chuck is a member and past president of the Tappahannock Rotary. He is a participating doctor for the Tappahannock Free Clinic. Chucks’s hobbies include restoring wooden boats, hunting, enjoying the river, cooking and buying vegetables at Garners Produce.
