Summer Camp

Imagine a summer full of creativity, and adventure! Picture all of the life-long memories that will be made from the exciting activities, like field trips and games! Enjoy your summer knowing that your camper is in a safe, enriching, and positive environment. Here at the Y, we believe that summer camp should experience for your child to grow in spirit, mind, and body!

  • Session 4: July 8-July 12-Bethel Baptist Camp (Rising K & 1st) is at Victory Family YMCA this week!
  • Session 5: July 15-July 19
  • Session 6: July 22-July 26
  • Session 7: July 29-Aug 2
  • Session 8: August 5-August 9-Bethel Baptist Camp (Rising K & 1st) is at Victory Family YMCA this week!
  • Session 9: August 12-August 16
  • Session 10: August 19- August 23

Registration Information

Limited spaces available, to guarantee your campers spot all deposits are due at registration.

What to bring to registration:

Registration packets are now electronic forms! You will fill out the packet electronically in person or online when registering.

Please allow enough time to complete the application and questionnaire in one sitting. The system will time out automatically if left open without activity and will not save your answers.

  1. An original birth certificate, immunization record, and physical for each camper
  2. $40 non-refundable registration fee and first week fees are due at time of registration
  3. Non-refundable/transferable deposit of $25 per week per child to reserve a camp spot

Please note: If your child’s camp will be paid by a third-party (such as Social Services or FAPT), or you will be seeking YMCA financial assistance through the Guardian program, please fill out the Application for Financial Assistance for Camp Programs or the Application for Financial Assistance for Counselors in Leadership Training. Confirmation of financial assistance approval and registration will be made known to you by the child care director. Additional documents may be required to complete the registration.

Day Camp Locations

Poquoson Primary- 2019 Highlights – Poquoson

Ages:  Rising Kindergarten-Rising 8th Grade

Bethel Baptist Church (Weeks 4 & 8 are at the Victory Family YMCA)-2019 Highlights – Bethel Baptist Church

Ages: Rising Kindergarten-Rising 1st Grade

Victory Family YMCA-2019 Highlights – Victory

Ages: Rising 2nd-Rising 5th Grade

Cost: $86/week for members and $120/week for program participants


Teen Camp at the Victory Family YMCA- 2019 Highlights – Teen Camp

This is a great weekly camp for younger teens. Includes group games, weekly field trips, team building, and leadership skills.

Ages: Rising 6th graders to rising 8th graders. 11-13 years old

Cost: $86/week for members and $120/week for program participants


C.I.L.T. Program at the Victory Family YMCA & Poquoson Primary-2019 Highlights-CILT

The C.I.L.T. program is a summer leadership experience focused on character development and team building. C.I.L.T.’s will work with campers, have their own field trips, and participate in daily leadership activities. Rewarding and challenging, the C.I.L.T. program is perfect for any growing leader

Ages: Rising 8th-10th grade

Cost: $77/week for members and $107/week for program participants


Specialty Camp

The Y offers a variety of specialty camps to give kids a week of concentrated fun around something they enjoy or want to try.

Ages: Rising Kindergarten to rising 8th Grade

Cost: $45 members/$80 program participants for all camps & weeks except July 1st-3rd ($35 members/$60 program participants); Drone Camp Fees-$100 members/$130 program participants
